Why Africa

We believe Africa is the next great frontier of private wealth, and that the families building it deserve advice equal to the fortunes they are creating.

Our conviction

The opportunity

Across the continent, a generation of entrepreneurs and industrialists is building businesses of real scale: in energy, logistics, telecommunications, agriculture, finance and construction. Several of Africa's economies rank among the fastest growing in the world, and the wealth being created is increasingly cross-border by nature. The same family may hold an operating group in Douala, property in Paris, accounts in Geneva and children at school in London.

The advice available to these families has not kept pace. International private banks and family offices rarely understand African clients: the structure of their businesses, the role of family, the realities of their home markets. Local providers, however capable, rarely reach the international markets where the same families bank, buy property and educate their children. The result is wealth managed in fragments, with no one accountable for the whole.

AfriOne exists in that gap. The firm was built from the start to be fluent in both worlds: African enough to understand where the wealth comes from, international enough to manage where it goes. We do not claim the continent is simple. We claim to know it, market by market, and to apply the same due diligence there that we apply in Paris or London.

How we are built

Fluent in both worlds

In Africa

Where our clients are from

  • Offices in four regions: Central, East and Southern Africa, staffed by people who live there
  • Working relationships with banks, counsel and authorities in each market
  • An understanding of family and business context that cannot be learned from a desk abroad
  • Client meetings held at home, in English or French, on the client's schedule
Internationally

Where their interests reach

  • A head office on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, where many clients already spend part of the year
  • A private banking network across Paris, Geneva, London and Dubai
  • Property and asset markets in Europe, the Gulf and North America, handled with local counsel
  • Schools, clinics and institutions that matter to a family's international life
For clients

What this means for clients

Access

Doors open in both directions. We bring African families into international banks and off-market property, and we help diaspora investors act on the continent with confidence.

Judgement

A decade of working both sides teaches which opportunities are real. We verify title, counterparties and pricing ourselves before recommending anything, in any market.

Continuity

One firm, one senior contact and one file across every border. When your interests move between Douala, Dubai and Paris, your advisor does not change.
