This page sets out regulatory information about AfriOne Assets Management SAS ("AfriOne") and the basis on which our services are provided. We publish it because clarity about what we are, and what we are not, is part of how we earn trust.
AfriOne Assets Management SAS is a societe par actions simplifiee registered in Paris, France, with its registered office at 18 Avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris. The firm was founded in 2014 and operates regional offices in Libreville (Gabon), Douala (Cameroon), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Johannesburg (South Africa). Company registration details are available on request.
AfriOne provides advisory and lifestyle services to private clients. These include family office coordination, acquisition advisory for property and other significant assets, negotiation and purchase representation, relocation advisory, and lifestyle and concierge services. In delivering this work we act as our client's representative and coordinator, under a written mandate that defines the scope of each engagement.
Certain services our clients require are regulated activities in the jurisdictions where they are performed. Regulated financial, tax and legal services, including investment advice, portfolio management, tax counsel, legal representation and notarial acts, are executed by licensed third parties in each relevant jurisdiction. AfriOne's role in relation to such services is to identify suitable licensed professionals, coordinate their work and represent the client's interests. Each licensed professional remains individually responsible to the client for the regulated advice or service they provide, under the supervision of their own regulator and professional body.
AfriOne is not a bank and does not take deposits, hold client money on account, or provide payment services. Client funds used in transactions move through regulated banks, notaries or escrow agents in the relevant jurisdiction, and never through accounts operated by AfriOne for that purpose.
We act solely for our clients and take no undisclosed commissions from counterparties or providers. Where a potential conflict of interest arises we disclose it before proceeding. We apply client identification and anti-money-laundering checks consistent with French and European requirements at the start of every relationship, and we maintain confidentiality obligations in every mandate. These standards apply across all of our offices.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please write to compliance@afrione.com or to the Compliance Officer, AfriOne Assets Management SAS, 18 Avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris, France. We acknowledge complaints promptly, investigate them at partner level and respond in writing. Complaints concerning a regulated service provided by a licensed third party will be directed to that professional and their competent authority, and we will assist you in raising them.
